Why Richard Cory committed suicide

These are the words of Edwin Arlington Robinson the author of the poem RICHARD CORY. The suicide of Richard Cory was of grate concern to me as a child when I read that story I wondered why a man so rich would kill himself. In my moment of boredom today I thought of Richard Cory again but this time I decided that I knew why he killed himself.
Richard according to the poet was a rich man who probably owned more than a dozen Rolex, maybe he drove a Bentley, am certain he might have owned a private jet. This man was likely the Bill Gate of his time after all he was said to be richer than a king. Inspite of his riches, and his popularity he was never said to have had a wife or children no mention was made of his friends. Richard Cory was a very lonely. He probably had a routine which he stuck to like Dr sheldon in THE BIG BANG THEORY. He got up 5am everyday left home at 6am for his business of the day got home at 8pm after closing at 6pm and having drinks with his business partners and investors till 7:30pm. Unforntunately routines can become boring sometimes when a man gets home there was no one to tell how his day went. He has no one to discuss his business ideas with. Frustration begins to sink in one day at a time. That calm summer night Richard had walked home alone as usual and tonight he was too tired to cook. His day had not gone well and he had come home with no one to say tomorrow will alright. No playing child try to get his attention and ease the tension. Richard Cory had all the money in the world but that money failed to buy him happiness, love and companionship. Richard Cory was a man that loved to live he was said to be a gentleman from sole to crown. This means that Richard Cory was not a troublemaker he liked peace. Richard Cory was a health conscious person Edwin referred to him as been clean favoured and imperially slim. He was obviously neat and wasn’t one who favoured junk food. He probably had a gym in his house where he made an effort to keep fit. That didnt sound like a man that really wanted to die. It is the lack of the things that money cant buy that made a rich Richard Cory kill himself. If you think otherwise don’t get mad tell me what you think of richard cory’s death.
